Mr. Zhongbo Ban, Mayor of Fangchenggang City, has identified Lyxia / Xiaozao Tech’s microalgae cultivation development as a Core Project for the city recognizing the financial and technological benefits the development represents. Wei Yu, Ph.D., founder and CEO of Lyxia / Xiaozao Tech stated the company will invest millions of dollars in the region, employ as many as 1000 local residents and contribute to a more prosperous future for Fangchenggang and Guangxi Province. Lyxia / Xiaozao Tech, a Shenzhen based biotechnology company, produces essential Omega-3 nutrients from commercial-scale microalgae aquaculture using sunlight, seawater and CO2 from an adjacent power generating station.
